FAQ
Practical answers, not sales pitches.
The questions teams actually ask before signing up — answered with what the product really does today, not what we wish it did.
About Apollo
What is Apollo?
Apollo is a SaaS platform for property media operations. It keeps clients, orders, pricing, production, storage and client communication organised in one place — built for teams who shoot, edit and deliver property media at scale.
Who is Apollo for?
Property media businesses — solo operators, growing teams and providers. The product is designed around the way property media work flows from enquiry through to delivery.
Is Apollo a marketplace?
No. Apollo is a SaaS utility platform, not a marketplace. We don't list jobs, set rates, or take a cut of your work. Your clients are your clients.
Is Apollo UK-based?
Yes. Apollo is built in the UK for property media teams operating in the UK. The product uses UK English throughout.
Using the product
Can I manage clients and orders in Apollo?
Yes. You can manage agencies, branches and direct clients alongside contacts, then capture and run orders from booking through to delivery.
Can I manage uploads, storage and downloads?
Yes. Field staff and editors can upload directly to the order, deliverables surface where they're needed, and Team-tier workspaces include a storage allowance with a usage view.
Does Apollo support teams?
Yes. The Team tier includes a staff directory, role-based access, connections, reports and storage allowance. Solo workspaces stay focused on the smaller surface area an individual operator needs.
Can I control staff permissions?
Yes. Apollo uses role-based access — Owner, Admin, Staff, Editor and Collaborator scopes — and access is enforced server-side, not just hidden in the UI.
Can clients access anything?
There's a client portal direction in the product covering orders, deliverables, invoices and order discussion threads — designed to give clients a clear view of their work without becoming a full chat product.
Is pricing configurable?
Yes. Apollo supports itemised pricing, surcharges and combination rules at the workspace level, with per-client and per-branch overrides where you need them.
Getting started
How do I get started?
Create an Apollo workspace from the Get started link in the header. The signup flow creates a real account, real tenant and Owner membership — paid billing isn't part of that step.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Apollo runs in the browser. Signing in via Google or email and password gets you straight into the workspace.
Can I talk to someone before signing up?
Yes — use the Contact page to get in touch. We're happy to chat through whether Apollo fits the way your team works before you create a workspace.
Still have a question?
Get in touch — we'd rather hear it directly.
If something isn't covered here, we'd genuinely like to know. It usually means we should explain it better — or build it.
